Margaret Balboni has championed disadvantaged children for the past 25 years. From her beginnings as a classroom teacher in Hartford, to mentoring teachers across the state of Connecticut since 2000, Margaret is passionate about closing the research to practice gap. She believes that learning is a lifelong process and is grateful to the many teachers that have welcomed her into their classrooms to hone their knowledge of reading and language acquisition. Margaret holds a teaching certification from the University of Rhode Island, and a Masters degree from Central Connecticut State University. She is certified as a Reading and Language Arts Consultant K-12.
